We are excited to announce the opening of "STL for Diversity", an exhibition that celebrates the voices, cultures, and experiences that shape the vibrant community of St. Louis. This exhibition, curated by Tahia Farhin Haque, highlights the artistic contributions of emerging artists from the region.
The "STL for Diversity" exhibition encouraged artists of all backgrounds to engage with art as a means of expression, fostering civic engagement and offering a platform for those who may or may not have access to traditional galleries. This celebration of diversity not only showcases art but also sparks meaningful dialogue on inclusivity, identity, and the power of creative resistance.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, February 28, from 5-8pm at TechArtista (Ucity)
The exhibition will run through April 18, and we welcome everyone to explore the thought-provoking works of these talented artists and contribute to a collective vision for a more inclusive and equitable community.
The exhibition is made possible with the collaborations of Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, TechArtista and Lewis Collaborative, they made the ecosystem of a space for curation for one MFA-VA student for the last two years.
Exhibition Dates: February 28 - April 18, 2025, Weekdays 9-5pm
